Warranty

SpaceJump warrants to the original purchaser of a Trampoline for personal use that it will perform in accordance with the warranties set out in this warranty document (‘Warranties’).

  2. Jump Mat and Springs: 5 Years
  3. Safety Pad, Safety Net & Net Poles: 3 Years
  4. SpaceJump™ Accessory Range: 1 Year

The warranty periods set out above begin from the date of delivery and warrant against failure in structural integrity due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations, conditions and exclusions expressed in this warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Damage cause by earth or ground-fill movement or Acts of God.
  2. Damage caused by misuse or improper maintenance of Trampoline.
  3. Damage caused by improper installation of the Trampoline.
  4. Damage caused by installation on an unsuitable surface.
  5. Damage caused by third party carriers or installers.
  6. Damage caused by accident or negligence.
  7. Damage caused by strong winds or storm
  8. Damage caused as a result of wear or tear.
  9. Damage caused by accessories not approved by SpaceJump.
  10. Surface rust or PVC water stains.
  11. Holes smaller than 2cm within the Jump Mat.
  12. Fading and weathering of the pads, net and jump mat will occur naturally over time and are not considered defects.
  13. This warranty does not cover demo or ‘scratch & dent sales’.

The Warranties do not apply to products used in commercial installations, including but not limited to hotels, motels, cafes, gyms, sports clubs where larger density applications are apparent. A separate commercial use warranty may be provided at the discretion of SpaceJump Limited and will require an express agreement in writing from SpaceJump Limited before it applies.

Warning

It is the owners responsibility to ensure regular inspections of the condition of the Trampoline are performed, including but not limited to, the tightness of all screws and bolts, connection of springs, secure attachment of ladder and accessories, integrity of stitching and the secure fixing of safety net, net poles and leg frames. Failure to perform checks and maintenance as per the owners manual may void your warranty.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is not transferable. The Trampoline must not be altered or modified from its original state, except for the attachment or installation of SpaceJump approved accessories. This warranty is the only warranty offered by SpaceJump and excludes any other implied or oral undertakings. The warranty does not reset on replacement or repair of products.

In the unlikely event Trampoline replacement is required, the Trampoline will be replaced with the same model, however specifications are subject to change. If the model is no longer available, a store credit will be issued to the value of your original purchase.

If any such defects appear or occur the Purchaser shall inform SpaceJump or its representative by notice in writing within seven days of such defect or the Warranties will not apply. Limitation of Liability

To the full extent permitted by the laws in New Zealand, SpaceJump, its agents or employees shall not in any event be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits. If the materials are purchased for business purposes, as defined by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (“the Act”), the provisions of the Act shall not apply to the materials so purchased.

The consumer acknowledges that using the Trampolines & other products sold by SpaceJump can be dangerous when used incorrectly, with inherent risks and hazards. As a consequence, personal injury or death may occur. The customer assumes and accepts all such risks, and hereby – to the full extent permitted by law – waives the right of action against, and fully releases SpaceJump for, loss, damages, personal injury or death in any way caused by, or relating to, the customer’s participation in such activities.

SpaceJump will not be liable for costs associated with but not limited to, building alterations, removal costs, delivery costs, or labour costs involved with the replacement of a Trampoline or accessory.

Servicing Requirements

In the event of a defect, we provide troubleshooting over our 0800 number. A replacement part will be sent as a remedy for the user to swap out as necessary. All servicing and repairs are to be carried out by the user following any provided instructions by SpaceJump unless otherwise specified. Rural areas may experience longer lead-times.
